StephChows's Raja Oaties Submit Your Recipe
 
 
This recipe was developed by one of our favorite bloggers, Steph Chows :: healthy eating ... that tastes good (http://stephchows.blogspot.com). With a touch of tahini, cashew butter and raisins, these oat cookies are unusual--and downright irresistable!
 
Ingredients:
3 Tbs tahini
1.5 Tbs cashew butter
1/4 cup Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Blue Agave
1.5 cups old fashioned oats
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 cup raisins or sultanas (for added "interest" and adult eaters, soak the raisings in rum--after all, it's made from sugar cane)

cookie trays or cupcake tins (for perfectly circular cookies)

 
Directions :

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Beat together the tahini, cashew butter and agave syrup.

In another bowl, stir together oats, baking soda and cinnamon.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, then stir in raisins.

Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a cookie sheet or into 12 greased muffin tins. Bake 10 minutes.

 

Makes a dozen .... depending on scoop size!
