Preheat the oven to 350° F. In a bowl, mix together the almonds, powdered sugar and liqueur, stirring well to combine.
Spread the mixture on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes, stirring now and again until the mixture has browned and crystallized. Leave until cold, then break into 20-24 pieces.
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot, not boiling water and dip each piece into the chocolate. Leave on a tray lined with non-stick baking paper until set, then place in paper or foil gift boxes. |
