It's so easy! Just add the dry ingredients to the mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix. Add the milk and oil and mix. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla and mix.
Put the mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on 1000 watts (high). Like a souffle, the cake might rise over the edge of the cup, but don't be alarmed. Allow it to cool a bit, then tip the cake out onto a plate.
Delicious dusted with powdered sugar, cocoa powder or even brown sugar and cinnamon. For a more "virtuous" morsel, cut the cake in half and share it with a friend! |
