In a large skillet heat butter over medium high heat and sauté onion, garlic and mushrooms for 5 minutes or until just tender. Add rice, raisins, apricots, broth, sugar and soy sauce.Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 8-10 minutes.
