1/2 navel orange, cut into 1-inch pieces (rind and all)
1 medium-sized tart green apple
1/2 cup sliced pecans
Optional: Use crab apples in place of green apples
Directions :
Use either a food processor fitted with the steel blade or a blender. Add cranberries, Sucanat and orange pieces. blend until cranberries and orange pieces are pulverized - but not liquified. Transfer to a medium-size bowl.
Core and mince the apple but do not peel. Combine the pecans and apples with everything else. Cover tightly and chill.
Serves 6.
