Our Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies Submit Your Recipe
 
 
Ingredients:

Makes 8 dozen 2-inch cookies

 

2 ¼ cups unsifted all-purpose four

1 level teaspoon baking soda

1 level teaspoon salt

1 cup soy margarine

1½ cup Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Sucanat

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large cage-free eggs

One 12-ounce package semisweet non-dairy chocolate chips (such as Tropical Source)

½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

½ cup raisins (optional)

 

 
Directions :

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.  Set aside.  In larger bowl, combine soy margarine, Sucanat and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.  Beat in eggs, one at a time.  Gradually add flour mixture.  Mix well before stirring in non-dairy chocolate chips.  Add nuts and raisins at this time, if desired.

 

Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
