Forristal Autumn Pumpkin Bread Submit Your Recipe
 
 
Ingredients:

2 cups white unbleached flour

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. sea salt

½ tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. cinnamon

2 cage-free eggs, beaten

½ cup milk (preferably organic milk or soy)

1 cup Wholesome Sweeteners Fair Trade Organic Sucanat®

1 cup pumpkin puree

¼ cup butter, melted (preferably organic)

1 cup walnuts, chopped
 
Directions :

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and spices; set aside.  In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, SUCANAT, pumpkin, and butter.  Add the dry ingredients; mix lightly.  Fold in the chopped walnuts.  Pour into a well-greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.  Bake for 55-60 minutes at 350°F or until done in the center.
