Chewy Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies with an Orange Glaze Submit Your Recipe
 
 
Ingredients:

3 cage free eggs, beaten

1 cup dried cranberries (Craisens)

1 tsp organic vanilla extract

1 cup organic butter, softened

1 cup Wholesome Sweeteners Fair Trade Organic Sugar

1 cup Wholesome Sweeteners Fair Trade Organic Light Brown Sugar

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp baking soda

2 cups quick cooking oats

 

Ingredients – Glaze

1 cup Wholesome Sweeteners Fair Trade Organic Powdered Sugar

2 tblsp orange juice with pulp

 

 
Directions :

Preheat oven to 350°

 

In a small bowl, combine eggs, cranberries and vanilla.  Cover and chill for 1 hour.

In a medium bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and white sugar.  In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda.

Slowly add dry mixture into the creamed mixture until they have combined.  Next add the egg/cranberry mixture and then the oats.  Mix well!

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.  Bake for 10-12 minutes.  Allow to cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes before glazing.

Drizzle glaze over the top of cookies.

 

Directions – Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk sugar and orange juice until smooth.
