Banana Oat Scotch Pancakes Submit Your Recipe
 
 
Ingredients:

½ cup rolled oats

1 cup self-raising unbleached flour

¼ cup Billington’s Milled Golden Cane Sugar

2/3 cup organic or soy milk

1 large cage-free egg, beaten

2 large bananas

¼ stick unsalted organic butter

Pinch of sea salt
 
Directions :
Rub the butter into the flour, then stir in the oats and Milled Golden Cane Sugar.  Add the egg and stir in the milk gradually.  Mash the bananas and beat into the mixture.  Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto a hot greased griddle or heavy frying pan.  Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.  Serve fresh and warm with butter.
