Using a chef's knife, peel the skin off the mango. You will see a seed at either end. Going the length of the seed slice off the two sides of the mango. Repeat with the ends to get the entire fruit off. (This will take a little practice, but it's worth it. A fresh mango is far better than any bottled products that will have been packaged in a sugar syrup.)
Combine the mango with the remaining ingredients in a blender and blend to smooth.
Serve in tall glasses and enjoy the Indian version of our humble smoothie.
