Citrus Glazed Gammon Steaks
 
 
Ingredients:

3/8 cup Billington’s Natural Dark Brown Molasses Sugar


2 tablespoons fresh limejuice


1 tablespoon lemon juice


2 thick gammon steaks (8oz each)

 
Directions :

Whisk the sugar and juice in a small bowl.


Place the gammon steaks in a shallow dish and pour over the marinade.  Chill for at least 1 hour and up to 3 hours.


Remove the gammon from the marinade and pour the marinade into a small pan.


Preheat the grill and cook the gammon steaks for a few minutes on each side, until cooked through.  The exact time will depend on the thickness of the meat.


Heat the marinade and bring to boil.  Cook until the liquid is reduced and shiny.


Pour over the cooked gammon steaks and serve immediately.


Serves 2.
