December 2006
Season's Greetings | |
|
December's holidays remind us of the sweet grace of giving, of tender moments with those we love, the sound of children's delighted laughter and perhaps a quick kiss under the mistletoe. In keeping with the spirit of giving, the Wholesome Sweeteners team shares just a few of our favorite recipes for tasty treasures. They make perfect hostess gifts, treats for office colleages, surprises tucked in small gift boxes, hand made by you just for your friends.
For more ideas, please visit the Wholesome Sweeteners December Holiday Recipes in our
online recipe library.
Happy holidays everyone!

Where in the World?
It's Washington's Mount Rainier! |
|
|
|
Her mother called it the world's largest ice cream sundae ... Ellen D of Poulsbo, Washington recognized Mount Rainier as the lovely mountain admired by Keith Jackson. Keith is one of the great people who makes sure that Wholesome Sweeteners Fair Trade CertifiedTM, organic and natural sugars, syrups and nectars are on your favorite store's shelves.
Ellen's entry was selected from among all the correct
entries we received for this edition of "Where in the World?" Her first priorites are her family--she's a work-at-home mom of three sons, a dog and three hens, too! She's also an
aerobics instructor.
Stay tuned for the next "Where in the World." |

Chef Mani Niall of Mani's Test Kitchen shared new agave recipes with us and we're happy to share them with you...
|
and while we're sharing...
"We TOLD him ... just one bottle of Blue Agave nectar a day!"
|
Pauline McKee and Natalie Byrd, both members of the Wholesome Sweeteners team, were in Las Vegas for a meeting in early December--and in spite of the promise that "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," the Sugar Club editors just HAD to share this too... |

Natalie's on the left, Pauline's on the right and the blue fellow in the middle is a member of the Blue Man Group (... and this is all that Nat and Pauline are telling us about the Vegas meeting!) |
Until next time!
Sweetest December wishes from all of us (and the blue guy, too) | |
