Memphis, Tennessee native Bryant Terry is a nationally recognized eco-chef, author and food justice activist, and he is currently a Food and Society Policy Fellow, a national program of the WK Kellogg Foundation. In 2001, Bryant founded b-healthy! (Build Healthy Eating and Lifestyles to Help Youth) to raise awareness about food justice issues and empower low-income youth. He is the co-author with Anna Lappé (foreword by Eric Schlosser) of "Grub: Ideas for an Urban Organic Kitchen" (Tarcher/Penguin, 2006), and he is working on "Organic Soul" which will be published by Da Capo/Perseus in 2009.
