Wholesome Sweeteners’ supplier of Organic Raw Blue Agave manufactures and processes Organic Raw Blue Agave exclusively for Wholesome Sweeteners—and does so according to rigorous standards. The maximum temperatures employed are below 118º Fahrenheit. This is in line with guidelines and our understanding from the Raw Foods Constituency that:

“Raw foods are full of living enzymes that replace those exhausted cells. These enzymes are slowed down at temperatures near 118 degrees F and are completely destroyed at approximately 130 degrees F.
